This is because TEU freight revenues are higher than ever and the reason is that rates on the global transportation network have been overwhelmed by consumer demand in times of COVID, however, as rates and revenues grow, vessel congestion is the main issue as increasing congestion in first quarter volumes due to congestion in California ports and major European hubs and COVID restrictions in China terminals could lead to lower volumes in the second quarter.
